At Abroad Wellness, we aim to provide patients with seamless and reliable support in selecting the right doctors, hospitals, and treatment options abroad. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we have outlined our Refund & Cancellation Policy to ensure transparency and fairness.
1. Consultancy & Service Fees
Consultancy or service fees paid to Abroad Wellness are non-refundable once the initial consultation and hospital/doctor recommendations have been provided.
These fees cover administrative efforts, research, and professional expertise invested in preparing your medical travel plan.
2. Medical Treatment Costs
All medical treatment costs are paid directly to hospitals or healthcare providers. Abroad Wellness does not handle or process these payments.
Therefore, any refunds related to medical bills, treatment delays, or cancellations are subject to the policies of the respective hospital/clinic and are outside our control.
3. Travel & Visa Services
Visa application and travel bookings (flights, accommodation, transport) are handled with third-party providers.
Refunds or cancellations for these services are governed by the respective airline, embassy, or service provider’s policy, not Abroad Wellness.
Abroad Wellness is not responsible for visa denials, airline cancellations, or other travel-related disruptions.
4. Cancellations by the Patient
If a patient chooses to cancel their planned treatment or travel:
The consultancy fee already paid is non-refundable.
Any refundable amount (if applicable) from third-party providers (airlines, hotels, hospitals) will be processed as per their individual policies.
5. Cancellations by Abroad Wellness
In rare cases where Abroad Wellness is unable to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., system failure, partner withdrawal), a full refund of the consultancy/service fee will be issued to the patient.
This does not apply to third-party costs (medical, travel, visa) paid directly to providers.
6. No-Show Policy
If a patient fails to attend scheduled medical appointments, consultations, or travel arrangements without prior notice, no refund will be applicable.
7. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–14 business days.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method used during booking.
8. Limitation of Liability
Abroad Wellness is not liable for:
Visa rejections
Delayed or canceled flights
Medical treatment outcomes or hospital cancellation policies
Patients are encouraged to secure travel insurance and medical insurance to safeguard against unexpected cancellations.
